You must score at least 95 points to achieve TDA certification. Example Easy Question worth one (1) point: You are a tournament director at a high stakes tournament. As you walk around the room, you see a player sitting in seat 1 take off his shoe and start hitting it on the table. He sees you come towards him and he explains that the dealer took his cards while he was still in the hand. The dealer looks astonished and begins to move around the muck to count the cards. The dealer holds up both hands and says, “The cards must have been out so I scooped them”. You should: A. Fire the dealer on the spot and call for another dealer. B. Expel the player for hitting his shoe on the table but refund his money. C. Explain to the player he must protect his cards and don’t take his shoe off anymore. D. Take the player’s shoe and tell him he can have it back at the end of the tournament. E. Tell the dealer to go through the muck, find the player’s cards, and spray table area with Lysol. F. Tell the dealer to refund everyone’s chips and re-deal the hand.
