I'd add that it doesn't matter how much the all in was for.

Even if C's all in was for less than a call, when B raises, the action changed. C can do anything including taking his all in back and folding.

Any out of turn action is binding (has to stay), unless action changes.
Even if someone goes all in out of turn, it has to stay unless action changes.
Player A bets 10k, player B doesn't act, player C goes all in
If B folds or calls - player C's all in must stay
If B raises, player C now has all options. They can call, fold, or raise.

Non-TDA Tournament and General Poker Rules Discussion / Point 53 FT
Last post by David21 - July 09, 2024, 07:23:50 AM
good day ! friends.
I need advice on point number 53 FT action A) it clarifies about check-coll-reise but does not say anything about all in.  Can the FT all in do whatever it wants if the stock changes too?

sorry my english

Guillaume,
Ideally, never put the stack in play and resale the seat to a player ready to play and place other player in late registration alternate line if possible. I would say most tournaments don't have this ability. Three things are accomplished - 1) Extra chips never go into play  2) Seat is immediately resold to late registration player 3) Easily identify's no show player who pre-registered and allows for player to be refunded.
Second best option is your #2 example and yes you give them a refund as well.

TY for the answer!
About the circumstances in which our tournaments are played > These are large freerolls tournaments in self-dealing but from online room qualifications (Winamax) with 500 to 2500 players in the big room, millions euros to be won in the final (communication investment ) and about 1 floor manager for 10 tables (!) > So we can't afford too much manipulations of chips when players arrive one by one! So the chips are already on the table. And for the moment we are taking the blinds off (to motivate the players to arrive on time) but the disadvantage is that if they do not come we have to recover different reduced stacks which is hard to count & check in the chiproom. Not taking the blinds would allow better counting but more late players ... So we are still hesitating ...

I don't know what saddens me more.

1- That at the Summit, attendees voted for big blind first. Or...
2- The results of the poll were posted on Twitter over 24 hours ago and haven't been mentioned here until now:
