I totally agree.

Perhaps I should have stated that it's common practice, and a rule in OUR league.

I'd actually be curious to know how many other leagues do this rather than standard casino rules.


But the bottom line is, that could be a source of the confusion stated in the original post.
Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown.
But how much does it cost to knock on wood?

Love the two page long threads where the very first response had the correct answer.  It's unfortunate that the dealer bungled it, but once all that action has occurred it has to stand at 150.  Certainly it should have been a raise to begin with, no dispute there, but now we are locked into this.

Although I kinda took us on an unnecessary tangent with the home/league talk, it's nice to get that kind of confirmation / recognition.
