Not familiar with your situation. Are you saying Player A bets 250K and Player C only calls 25K thinking that was the bet?

David21

Hi nick Yes
The player did not call the bet
Distracted

Nick C

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I don't believe I can offer much of a solution. I don't play online, but when I did, I was not allowed to call a short amount.

I don't understand how that was even allowed.

Im pretty sure 'online' is supposed to say 'all in'?

So player A is all in for 250k
Player C doesn't realize there is an all in, and thinks they are betting 25k?

This is going to fall under Rule 51 - Undercalls in turn
B: A player undercalls by declaring or pushing out less than the call amount without first declaring "call". An undercall is a mandatory full call if made in turn facing 1) any bet heads-up or 2) the opening bet on any round multi-way. In other situations, TD's discretion applies. The opening bet is the first chip bet of each betting round (not a check). In blind games the posted BB is the pre-flop opener. All-in buttons reduce undercall frequency (See Recommended Procedure 1). This rule governs when players must make a full call and when, at TDs discretion they may forfeit the amount of the intended undercall and fold.

The TDs decision is probably going to be based on whether or not there were any chips pushed out with the 250k all in, or it was just a verbal all in, or if there was an all in button used.
If the chips were out there, then he would def have to call the full 250k. If not, he could be given the option to fold and forfeit the 25k.

Brooks,

I would agree with you except, I was under the impression this is an online situation and not live.
